A Proposal to Never Forget

Do you know what happened on the day of Akshaya Tritiya at our store? Well, we cannot forget the day and every time we remember it with joy and success. Our Showroom was flooded with people from across the corner in the city. Could hear a person asking for kaasu malai, another asking for rings, some asking for this earring, and then a couple asked for anklet for a new born, bracelet, it just went on. Our services and staffs were on their toes the entire day. Our tenacity is spoken loud with ever customers smile while they do their payout.

The management was well planned to provide the customers with beverages, water and also a play area for the kids to keep themselves busy while the family can do a good shopping. The billing station was packed with people their conversation and the cashier were at robust to finish and push to the next customer.

But we never failed to surprise them with our packaging and a small token of love along with each bag handed over to the customers. The security was on high alert and none of our staffs were treated less to a customer with respect food, beverage and gratitude. The families chattering, discussing about the events to which they have to choose the jewelry, the silver plates for decoration, the gods idols for the pooja room and also for give away to relatives, and more.

The floors calmed down during lunch, when an elderly couple walked through the doors with a very warm smile followed by their grandchildren. The grand daughter told us they wanted to help their grandparents to understand, what a proposal is? as they couldn’t relate to it when I wished my fiancé happy valentine’s day. Our Manager smiled and took them to the floor, where the rings are arranged. The counters were full, got cleared with the couple walking closer to them to see the entire collection.

A husky voice from grandma uttered “this is so beautiful, its new, fresh and styled”, a masculine voice murmured, “do you remember we purchased a jewelry like this when our kids got married?” We all enjoyed their conversation and innocent laughs over every line they shared. Then came a moment when a ring was taken out to show and the grandma stopped and said- “I would like my husband choose the ring which I have chosen in my heart which will tell the strength of our love in the past 50 years”. The grandkids were dumbstruck as they didn’t know about this side of their story.

A beautiful instrumental music with a flute was been played in the backdrop of the showroom; grandma was humming to the raagam waiting for her one man to choose the right choice she has chosen. Grandpa said loudly, “Ahaan, I found it” and described it- “Beautifully engraved diamonds stringed around the corners, with emeralds connecting in between the diamonds while the rich red ruby sits exactly in the middle, as the center of attraction receiving the attention from around the world”, a simply phenomenal, minimalistic and magical ring which will be the best only for you my love. That one smile of Grandma nailed the ring and the lines from Grandpa took the entire ambience by a surprise to see the purity of love and the authenticity of relationship even after 5 decades.

The Grandchildren were taken by surprise and decided to make the day more special by buying the same ring for their grandmother’s birthday. We believe in our customers smile and go by our religious emotions which are strongly tied to our roots. A day to never forget and the best proposal we could say and save for years.
